What are you doing tonight? nothing I hope maybe we could do nothing together your shoulder within reach of my cheek your hand making home in the space between my fingers what are you doing tomorrow? could we spend it together? could we make breakfast badly? could we burn the toast and call it rustic? could you kiss me in the kitchen like the coffee can wait like the world can wait what are you doing next spring? there are tulips I have not seen yet and I think you'd like to as well there are rainy sidewalks that need us to dance across them what are you doing when I am sad? could you sit with me? could you love me when I don't? what are you doing when I am old? when my hands forget how young they were when my hair goes silver and my knees are sore what are you doing tonight? tomorrow? when the soup is done? when the dog is old? when the house is quiet? what are you doing for the rest of your life? because I have this ridiculous idea nothing too crazy I was just thinking just that maybe if you don't have plans we could spend it together.
For all of my angry posts I write, I have a million little bright and beautiful ones about my boyfriend. I love asking him random and ridiculous things and “what are you doing for the rest of your life” is one of my favourites. I love youuuu, Ping Pong 💕
Thank you for being here 🫶🏻
